The Process

Step 1

Decide the yard signs and the event you would like to rent the signs (5 days for Birth Announcements, 1 day for events). You can choose from Storks Yard Signs (Pink or Blue), Star Yard Signs, Dog Bones, Cat Signs

Step 2

Be prepared with the information. We would need the baby’s details – For Birth Announcements Signs (Storks )- baby’s first and middle name, date of birth, weight, and length, and details about other signs (Stars, Dog Bones, and Cat Signs) – Message on each Sign. We would also need your details and the recipient’s details like Names, Addresses, and Contact information.

We take most orders via Square over the phone. All orders must be paid in advance. Orders will be canceled if payment isn’t made 24 hours before the stork delivery date. You’ll receive a call, text, or email prior to cancellation. 

Q: Do I need to have a lawn for the stork signs?

We install signs on traditional residential lawns. We define a lawn as a wide expanse of unobstructed soil with grass on the top. We cannot install signs in rocks, pea gravel, concrete, mulch, flower beds, raised beds, garden pots, thick landscaping, or hard-packed soil that has been used as a driveway. We must be able to drive the stake into the ground 10 inches to properly and safely install a sign. 

Q: How early should I reserve a stork?

We do not reserve storks more than two weeks in advance due to the unpredictability of a baby’s arrival. If you choose to place your order early, note that we will deliver your stork rental based on the date confirmation we received at the booking. It’s best to place an order for a personalized stork bundle once the baby has arrived! We can accommodate orders for next-day delivery if the order is placed and payment is received by 4 PM the day before. We don’t guarantee a sign will be installed prior to new parents returning home with their baby but will try our very best to make it happen! 

You can reserve a stork in advance for baby showers, Sip & Sees and Gender Reveals.

Q: How long can I rent the Stork Sign for?

For new baby announcements, you can rent the stork sign for for5 days. For events, our stork signs can be rented for one day.

Q: Under what circumstances do you cancel an order?

Orders will be canceled if payment isn’t made 24 hours before the stork delivery date. You’ll receive a call, text, or email prior to cancellation. 

Q: What is your refund policy?

If an order isn’t fulfilled as the customer requested we would refund the order. Last-minute requests wouldn’t be eligible for a refund. We need a 24-hour window to fulfill any requests that weren’t previously discussed at the time of booking. 

You will receive a full refund if any of the following apply:

  • You cancel your stork or birthday sign rental at least 24 hours in advance
  • Extreme weather conditions prevent us from setting up your sign

You will not receive a refund if any of the following apply:

  • We are unable to get into a gated community because we were not given a gate code or it doesn’t work
  • The security guard at a gated community refuses to allow us entry please note: We stay very busy and we can’t wait at a gate for more than 10 minutes while the guard attempts to contact the homeowner to grant access. It is important that you make arrangements with the guard to give us access prior to the moment of delivery.
  • The homeowner or recipient does not allow us to set up the sign or calls us to request that we pick up the sign prior to the end of the rental period
  • If a dog or other animal is threatening or refuses to allow us onto the property
  • If the location does not have a traditional lawn We define a lawn as a wide expanse of unobstructed soil with grass on the top.

Q: How much does the birth announcement yard sign cost? Will there be a delivery fee?

Our new baby announcement ‘personalized’ stork signs for your new baby can be rented for 5 days for $90 respectively. These storks come with a bundle that is personalized with your baby’s details and is left behind as a keepsake. *If your delivery address is more than 20 miles away from our business address in Gunter, additional mileage fees will be added to your invoice. We are happy to give you an estimate! 

Q: How much are sibling/message stars/dog bones and cat signs?

Sibling Stars/Message Stars/Cat Signs or Dog Bone Signs can be added to your order of a stork sign for $20/per sign. Each of these signs is personalized and left behind at the end of the rental period.

Q: What service do you offer for twins, triplets, and quadruplets?

We offer stork signs for multiple births – we install a separate sign for each baby. Each bundle carries the details of each baby.

Q: What Signs do you offer for proud grandparents?

Having a new grandbaby is an important milestone. We offer stork signs for proud grandparents too so they can announce this joyous occasion to their community. We offer stork signs with generic bundles ($60) or personalized ($90) bundles for 5 days for Grandparents. Generic bundles have generic messages like ‘It’s a Grandson’ or ‘It’s a Granddaughter’ whereas personalized ones have the baby’s details. Only personalized bundles are left behind as keepsakes when we pick up the storks

Q: Where will you install the new baby sign in the yard?

We choose the best location possible for visibility, as well as for the best photo opportunities. Sometimes we run into issues such as utility boxes, automatic lawn sprinkler systems, tree roots, or landscaping that will dictate placement. In those situations, we will still use our best judgment as to the location. If there is a specific location you’d like for the sign to be please let us know when you order and we will do our very best to accommodate your request. We cannot guarantee exact stork placement if you are not home when we deliver the sign or if you have not obviously marked the location in the yard with a tangible marker. But we will do our best to fulfill your request!
